It's Our ANNIVERSARY

WOW!!! How does time fly?? 

It's been 2 years now that I've been blogging about Landon's journey. But I must say, it's one of my most soothing outlets. Not only do I enjoy sharing with the our family, friends and readers how Landon is developing, progressing and currently expressing himself as a toddler; but also proving that any parent can still enjoy being a parent in the word of difference. 

Not only is today The Anniversary of LandonsLeap, but it's also My Birthday! On this very day I decided to publicly share My Thoughts, Landons's progress and how we're living day by day with our Special Blessing.

Total Transporation Experience

Today for the first time we used transportation through HSC. I knew we had the opportunity to use it but since I my own personal vehicle, it was never needed. Recently when our case manager from HSC came for an introduction visit I inquired about it, since at this time I no longer had my personal vehicle.

The experience was comfortable and satisfying; the only thing that was unclear was what kind of vehicle I was expecting, if we should be outside at the requested pickup time, if the driver or a dispatcher would call us to say they were in route.

Nevertheless I ended up calling too see what to expect and was informed the driver would call when in route and when they were outside.

Coincidentally when we headed outside the driver was standing at the door and as made eye contact she asked if we were Loki g for transportation. She then stated, "I know him, I picked him up before", "I replied no", she says, "are you sure", I reply again "I'm certain this is the first time were using transportation". So come to find out after we went back and forth she recognized Landon from transporting to Easter Seals.

After we figured were she knew him from that eased me just a little knowing she took the time to remember someone she actually never transported, but yet paid so much attention to.

The ride was not only comfortable but complete. We arrived in good timing and the driver called when she was in route to pick us back up, while the ride home was lights out for us both.

Needless to say we will definitely be requesting transportation from here on out!
